The Hub brings together all of Aston’s key student support departments
to ensure students can get answers to their most frequent queries without
having to go from one part of the University to another. Staff on the Reception
desk will either be able to give you an immediate answer to your query or

Disability and Additional Needs Unit (DANU)
Aston University’s Disability and Additional Needs Unit (DANU) is a
confidential advice and support service, committed to assisting students
with additional needs. The types of support DANU can provide include:
Arranging screening for Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs) and arrange
diagnostic assessments
Advising on funding available for disability related support, including
Disabled Students Allowance (DSAs)
Giving advice about support available for your course and exams
Organising Study Skills Support Tuition
Arranging Study Support Workers provided via Clear Links Support Ltd
Liaising with your School of Study to arrange appropriate and additional
support such as lecture notes or presentation materials and special
examination arrangements
