Pricing in context
Worcester Warriors are committed to delivering top-flight rugby
at Sixways. First and foremost we are a Premiership Rugby Club
and this is where we will stay. It is a competitive league and whilst
the costs for each club to put a team together and onto the pitch
are similar, we have lost ground in our pricing structure since
2008. Over the last four years the other Aviva Premiership clubs
have had annual price rises and we have been left behind.
We have been determined to keep price increases to a
minimum this season whilst also balancing the challenges
facing professional sporting clubs. Following two year
reduction in prices following our relegation in 2009/10
we have moved towards pricing more in line with other
clubs. We have a responsibility to all of our stakeholders
to strive towards a financially stable club and your
support is critical to that.
Our pricing is closer now with other clubs
in the league and will ensure we can
continue to improve on the pitch and invest in
the supporter experience.
