Walk Like A Warrior is the Warriors Foundation flagship
initiative. Since its inception in 2008, over 22 cohorts have
been delivered across 12 schools with student participation
numbers in excess of 400.
The 10 week initiative takes place at Sixways Stadium and
offers students the opportunity to work in our Study Centre
and also take part in outdoor activity utilising the extensive
facilities available at Sixways Stadium.
During the season we welcomed 8 local schools and over 80
children to Sixways Stadium to take part in this term-long
programme. The initiative addresses social issues and helps
children to develop skills such as: teamwork, problem solving,
communication, confidence, self-discipline and respect for
themselves and others. Sixways Stadium and the iconic brand
Social inclusion
of the Warriors is an ideal location for children to flourish
outside the classroom and the impact can be life changing
for some of our students.
