orcester is an ancient city, rich in
heritage and famed for its majestic
Cathedral and the pivotal role it played
in the English Civil War. Not to mention the
musical legacy of Sir Edward Elgar, our fine
porcelain and as the birthplace of globally
renowned Worcestershire Sauce.
All this and more is within the city centre and you can’t fail to soak up the atmosphere in its
historic streets such as New Street and Friar Street.
Worcester is also at the cutting edge of modern architecture with the recently opened Hive,
riverside fountains and soon to be opened Worcester Arena.
